W dniach 23-27 maja 2022 r. odbyła się w Międzyzdrojach XXX Międzynarodowa Konferencja Naukowo-Techniczna „Awarie Budowlane”, organizowana miedzy innymi przez Wydział Budownictwa i Inżynierii Środowiska ZUT w Szczecinie. W Konferencji udział wzięło 6 doktorantów z Department of Civil Engineering, Auburn University  z oraz  doktorant z  Pennsylvania State University w USA. Opiekunem doktorantów w czasie Konferencji był prof. Andrzej Nowak z Auburn University. Doktoranci oprócz czynnego udziału w Konferencji zapoznali się z budową  tunelu komunikacyjnego pod rzeką Świną w Świnoujściu. Udział  doktorantów z USA został sfinansowany przez  Narodową Agencję  Wymiany Akademickiej w ramach programu PROM „Międzynarodowa wymiana stypendialna doktorantów i kadry akademickiej”, który jest realizowany na ZUT.

On 23-27 May 2022, the XXX International Conference on Structural Failures was held in Międzyzdroje, organised, among others, by the Faculty of Construction and Environmental Engineering, ZUT in Szczecin. The conference was attended by 6 PhD students from the Department of Civil Engineering, Auburn University and a PhD student from Pennsylvania State University, USA. The supervisor of the students during the Conference was Prof. Andrzej Nowak from Auburn University. In addition to active participation in the Conference, the students were acquainted with the construction of a communication tunnel under the Swina River in Świnoujście. The participation of doctoral students from the USA was financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange within the PROM programme 'International exchange of doctoral students and academic staff', which is being implemented at ZUT.
