Due to the exhaustion of funds within the PROM project, the Spring Doctoral School (SDS) is cancelled.

Within the PROM-ZUT programme, the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering together with the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin organises the Spring Doctoral School (SDS) in Civil Engineering and Materials Science.

The formula of the School provides for a series of lectures and workshops in English - a total of 36 hours in four thematic blocks:

1. Modern construction materials and technologies.
2. Environmental protection in civil engineering.
3. Advanced technologies in structural materials engineering.
4. Chemical engineering for the environment.

The school will be held from 25 to 30 April 2022 (Monday to Saturday), in full-time mode or hybrid mode (depending on the epidemiological situation) using the MS Teams platform.

The participation fee for the PhD school is 2000 PLN (the number of places is 20).

Participants/doctoral students will receive all materials and a certificate of completion of the School.

PhD students interested in participating in the School are kindly requested to fill in the application form and send their CVs and their signed consent for personal data processing to alacwik@zut.edu.pl no later than March 30, 2022.

If your application is accepted, you will receive an email with payment information (fees must be paid in one amount by bank transfer in PLN). You will only be officially accepted into the programme once the full fee has been sent.

Doctoral students from foreign universities, who are under 40 years of age, may apply within the PROM-ZUT programme for a scholarship to finance their participation in the Spring Doctoral School as well as travel and accommodation costs in Szczecin. The PROM-ZUT programme provides for the financing of 10 scholarships. Information about the rules of applying for the scholarship can be found on the project website: https://www.prom.zut.edu.pl
